Job Summary
1. Education & Professional Certification
- Academic Background:Bachelors Degree inQuantity Surveying Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. (Candidates with an M&E background are often preferred due to the high MEP value in data centers).
- Professional Accreditation:Membership inRICS(Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)AIQS or equivalent professional bodies is highly desirable.
- Local Licensing:Valid professional certification (e.g.SKK Konstruksifor QS) as required by local regulations.
2. Technical Experience
- Industry Experience:Minimum of 35 years of experience in Quantity Surveying with a proven track record inMission Criticalprojects (Data Centers Cleanrooms or High-Tech Industrial plants).
- MEP Literacy:Strong understanding of the cost components forHV/MV Electrical SystemsUPS unitsCRAC/CRAH units andBMS (Building Management Systems).
- Uptime Standards:Familiarity withUptime Institute Tier Standards (I-IV)and how redundancy requirements impact the Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
