Job Summary
Position Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely and accurate monitoring of health claims performance - Accountable for delivering highquality recurring analytical outputs that provide early detection of emerging trends in claims cost utilization and risk indicators. This includes maintaining dependable monitoring mechanisms that allow the Health team to respond quickly to changes in a shorttailed highvelocity business environment.
2. Support strategic and operational decisionmaking through advanced analytics - Responsible for synthesizing data from TPAs providers and internal systems into structured insights that inform decisionmaking. This includes developing analyses that highlight key drivers of cost utilization anomalies and operational inefficiencies enabling leadership to take targeted actions that improve financial and operational performance.
3. Maintain and enhance the data infrastructure that enables Health analytics with collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders - Responsible for ensuring that data pipelines processing logic and reporting assets are accurate stable and optimized for efficiency. This includes identifying opportunities to improve data quality and enhance analytical tools to support scalability and operational excellence.
4. Support adhoc analytical requests and crossteam initiatives - Accountable for delivering highquality analysis and insights for adhoc projects originating from other teams ensuring responsiveness analytical rigor and alignment with broader business priorities. This includes contributing analytical expertise to crossfunctional initiatives that require healthrelated data interpretation or integration.
Required Qualifications:
Strong skills in SQL Python R SAS or other analytical tools.
Expertise in BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau for insight visualization and storytelling.
Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Data Science Actuarial Science Computer Science Engineering Economics or another quantitative discipline.
Typically 25 years of analytics experience ideally within health insurance actuarial functions or data-heavy operational environments.
Deep exposure to health insurance data or medical coding (ICD CPT procedure codes) is a strong asset.
