A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Defense-Side Litigation Attorney to join its litigation practice. This role involves representing institutional clients such as hospitals healthcare providers and employers across a range of litigation matters including health law premises defense and employment litigation.
Core Responsibilities

Defend hospitals healthcare providers employers and other institutional clients across all phases of litigation

Manage a diverse caseload including health law premises defense and employment litigation matters

Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with partners and clients
-
Draft and argue motions take and defend depositions and manage discovery processes
-
Lead case management from intake through trial preparation
-
Analyze complex legal and factual issues and provide clear guidance to clients
-
Represent clients in hearings mediations and potentially first-chair trial roles
Required Qualifications

7 years of post-JD litigation experience
-
Experience in defense-side litigation
-
Background in health law premises defense or employment litigation
-
Strong courtroom and motion practice experience
-
Ability to manage cases independently from pleadings through trial
-
Active bar admission and good standing
