Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Partner to join our growing legal team. This role is ideal for a seasoned attorney with 10 20 years of substantial litigation experience who is looking to play a strategic role in the firms long-term growth.
As part of our succession planning initiative several senior partners are approaching retirement creating an opportunity for a dynamic legal professional to step into a leadership position and contribute to the continued success of our litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial and resolution.
- Represent clients in court proceedings mediations arbitrations and negotiations.
- Provide strategic legal advice and litigation strategies to clients across a range of disputes.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development efforts.
- Mentor and guide junior attorneys and litigation staff.
- Collaborate with other partners and practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal services.
Required Qualifications
- 10 20 years of solid litigation experience in a reputable law firm or comparable legal environment.
- Demonstrated experience in business litigation and probate litigation.
- Extensive trial experience with the ability to independently handle complex cases.
- Strong legal research writing and advocacy skills.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in labor and employment litigation.
- A portable book of business or demonstrated ability to generate and sustain client relationships.
