Litigation Paralegal

About the Role:

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with strong eDiscovery expertise to support attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. This role is based in the Milwaukee office and offers the opportunity to work on complex matters in a collaborative and technology-driven legal environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in case management eDiscovery operations trial preparation and litigation support while also helping to develop and maintain best practices across the full eDiscovery lifecycle.

This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing large volumes of information leveraging legal technology and contributing meaningfully to litigation strategy and case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and maintaining litigation documents under supervision including notices briefs citations witness disclosures exhibits jury demands stipulations authorizations and subpoenas for records.
  • Support litigation teams with discovery requests subpoenas docket management court orders and other related litigation support activities.
  • Manage eDiscovery data workflows from collection through production and post-trial or post-settlement archiving.
  • Maintain and organize electronic document databases and eDiscovery platforms ensuring accuracy accessibility and compliance with data retention practices.
  • Help develop and maintain defensible consistent eDiscovery workflows documentation and best practices.
  • Assist in vendor selection and vendor management for litigation and eDiscovery service providers including forensic investigations and trial support services.
  • Monitor emerging eDiscovery technologies litigation trends and industry best practices particularly those involving Artificial Intelligence and advanced legal technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
  • Courtroom experience strongly preferred.

  • Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite document management systems and legal software.
  • Experience working with AI tools or technology in legal workflows is a plus.

Candidates holding the following certifications will be highly regarded:

  • Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS)
  • Relativity Processing Specialist
  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA)
