As an IT Asset Manager you will serve as the primary contact to decommission older laptops and help set up repolacement PCslaptops. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via phone email chat and in-person. Your goal is to prepare older assets for e-waste as well as evaluate prioritize and resolve technical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide timely and courteous assistance for hardware software network and general computer-related issues.
- Descommissioning laptops: Act as the single point of contact for wiping older laptops and tracking them for e-waste.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in imaging new assets and assigning them to the appropriate user.
- Tracking: Log and monitor all assets.
- Follow-up: Maintain communication on outstanding tickets to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required (current enrollment in a college degree program is a plus).
- Experience: Relevant work experience and a demonstrated passion for technology.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: XXX - XXX3 / Hour (Starting pay determined by experience).
