About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Non-IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team in Irvine this role you will focus exclusively on sourcing screening and placing candidates across a range of engineering and technical disciplines not IT or software roles.
Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for non-IT roles including Electrical Mechanical Architectural Structural and BIM/Revit engineers and designers Source passive and active candidates through job boards (Dice LinkedIn Indeed) referrals and industry networks Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings Partner with department heads and project managers to understand role requirements and team culture Manage candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance and onboarding Track recruiting metrics and report on pipeline activity in ATS
Requirements 2-5 years of recruiting experience preferably in engineering AEC (Architecture Engineering & Construction) or related technical fields Familiarity with roles in Electrical Mechanical Structural Architectural and BIM disciplines Experience using Dice LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field preferred
Nice to Have Prior experience recruiting for AEC or EPC firms Knowledge of BIM/Revit or CAD tools from a hiring perspective Familiarity with the Southern California engineering job market
