This role is designed for attorneys who want real responsibility early in their career. You will manage your own caseload while working closely with an experienced team that supports your development and success.
You will be responsible for driving cases forward from intake through settlement or litigation referral making critical decisions around liability damages and negotiation strategy.
This is a fast-paced role where your ability to prioritize communicate effectively and exercise sound legal judgment will directly impact client outcomes.
What Youll Do:
Case Management & Strategy
Manage a pre-litigation caseload from onboarding through settlement or escalation
Evaluate liability injuries treatment progress and damages exposure
Develop and implement case strategy with internal teams
Identify insurance coverage issues and case value considerations
Review medical progress and determine readiness for demand
Client Communication
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status
Provide clear legal guidance and set expectations
Handle escalations with professionalism and empathy
Ensure clients feel informed and supported throughout
Demand Negotiation & Settlement
Review and approve settlement demands
Negotiate bodily injury claims with insurance adjusters
Evaluate settlement offers and advise on next steps
Drive cases toward timely and favorable resolution
File Progression & Oversight
Conduct regular file reviews to ensure progress
Identify delays and take corrective action
Monitor key milestones including treatment updates and documentation
Escalate cases requiring litigation review
Collaboration & Team Contribution
Work closely with case managers legal assistants and leadership
Support training and mentorship of junior staff where needed
Participate in case discussions and team meetings
Contribute to a culture of accountability and high performance
What were looking for:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license in good standing
1 3 years of personal injury experience preferred
Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred
Strong negotiation and client communication skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Experience with Litify Filevine or similar systems is a plus
