Location

This is a hybrid position based in Farmington Hills MI. Attorneys are expected to work in the office 3 days per week with flexibility for focused work outside the office.

Note

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Michigan and have 1 year of litigation experience.

Job Description

• Handle a variety of civil litigation and insurance defense matters from early case assessment through resolution.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery requests discovery responses correspondence and case strategy materials.
• Participate in depositions court hearings motion practice trial preparation and client communications.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
• Work closely with partners senior attorneys and support staff to move cases forward efficiently.
• Analyze legal issues develop litigation strategy and help deliver practical solutions for clients.
• Contribute to a team-oriented culture focused on strong advocacy professionalism and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Michigan bar license required.
• 1 year of litigation experience required.
• Civil litigation insurance defense PIP or related litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with depositions motion practice discovery and trial preparation preferred.
• Strong legal writing research communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines prioritize tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Professional detail-oriented and motivated to grow within a litigation practice.
