Job Summary

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Whippany NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months Contract

Core Responsibilities

Oversees the planning execution and closure of projects ensuring they are completed on time within scope and on budget.

Planning & Initiation: Defining project scope objectives and deliverables; creating detailed project plans schedules and budgets.

Execution & Monitoring: Leading cross-functional teams delegating tasks and tracking progress against milestones.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks proactively addressing bottlenecks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track

End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full AI project lifecycle from initial feasibility and data collection to model training RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementation and final deployment.

Technical & Business Translation: Act as a bridge between highly technical teams (data scientists ML engineers) and non-technical stakeholders translating AI capabilities into measurable business impact.

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Acting as the main point of contact conducting status meetings and reporting project progress.

Closing: Finalizing deliverables documenting processes and ensuring client satisfaction

An understanding of machine learning (ML) Natural Language Processing (NLP) Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.

Proficiency in Agile and Scrum which are essential for the iterative testing cycles required in AI development.

Familiarity with AI platforms (Azure AI AWS SageMaker) and traditional PM tools like JIRA or GitHub Enterprise.

Will be a plus having credentials like PMP Certified Scrum Master or AI-specific certifications from providers like PMI or IBM.
