Job Summary
Context
To strengthen how our clients communicate and collaborate we developed EverTeama nextgeneration cloudbased internal collaboration and monitoring platform. EverTeam allows customer care agents and team leads to train work and communicate seamlessly within one unified system. To continue building reliable highly scalable and secure solutions that meet evolving customer needs the EverTeam squad is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in and AWS.
Location
The position is based in one of our offices in Colombia located in Barranquilla Bogotá or Cali. Remote work is possible. There will be a lot of collaboration with the team in Europe during morning hours in Colombia.
Missions
- Write reusable effective and scalable code preferably in JavaScript but not limited to it
- Maintain and improve our backend systems that orchestrate various parts of the product
- Create out-of-the-box solutions to help resolve scaling challenges
How we work
Driven by the Agile Scrum method we are organized in squads of 6-8 people featuring a Product Owner a Lead Developer (acting as Scrum Master) Frontend & Backend Developers and QA Engineers. Our DevOps Engineers and UI/UX Designers are dedicated to all squads.
Main technologies used for this role
AWS MySQL DynamoDB Docker Fargate
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with and AWS services
- Fluent English spoken and written
- Familiar with: AWS Serverless services (Lambda Aurora Fargate API Gateway) MySQL/DynamoDB Containerization (Docker Fargate) and CloudFormation
- An expert in fixing database performance issues specifically those related to queries
- Knowledge in a plus
