Job Summary

Were looking for two highly skilled and motivated individuals. One to join the English Severn & Wye Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) Team and one to join the Trent RFCC as a Lead Local Flood Authority Officer.

In this role you will:

Work closely with our partner organisations to support in the delivery of schemes that help to reduce flood risk and enhance the environment across the English Severn & Wye Catchment or Trent Catchment depending on location.
Support Risk Management Authorities in the writing and approval of business cases.
Assist Risk Management Authorities in building a robust pipeline of future projects.
Find opportunities for joint working / collaboration.
Gather and interpret data from a range of sources to review / report on project performance.
Assist Levy Advisors in identifying training needs build knowledge and share information.
Help to guide Risk Management Authorities through Environment Agency process requirements and streamline them where possible.
Assist advisors to input into Regional Flood and Coastal Committee / Finance Sub Committee Meetings as required.
