Were looking for two highly skilled and motivated individuals. One to join the English Severn & Wye Regional Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC) Team and one to join the Trent RFCC as a Lead Local Flood Authority Officer.
In this role you will:
- Work closely with our partner organisations to support in the delivery of schemes that help to reduce flood risk and enhance the environment across the English Severn & Wye Catchment or Trent Catchment depending on location.
- Support Risk Management Authorities in the writing and approval of business cases.
- Assist Risk Management Authorities in building a robust pipeline of future projects.
- Find opportunities for joint working / collaboration.
- Gather and interpret data from a range of sources to review / report on project performance.
- Assist Levy Advisors in identifying training needs build knowledge and share information.
- Help to guide Risk Management Authorities through Environment Agency process requirements and streamline them where possible.
- Assist advisors to input into Regional Flood and Coastal Committee / Finance Sub Committee Meetings as required.
