Overview

Scotiabank is seeking an earlycareer Talent Acquisition professional to support Analyst and Associate hiring across our U.S. Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and Global Capital Markets (GCM) businesses. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the full lifecycle of lateral frontoffice recruitment across a broad range of revenuegenerating teams within a toptier global bank.


Reporting to the U.S. Front Office TA Manager the Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders providing realtime market intelligence operational excellence and hightouch support. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building earlycareer pipelines shaping candidate experience and influencing hiring outcomes across a fastgrowing is an excellent entry point for someone looking to deepen their knowledge of investment banking recruiting gain exposure to highimpact frontoffice teams and grow into a strategic advisory role over time.


What Youll Do

  • Source and attract earlycareer frontoffice talent including passive candidates for Analyst and Associate roles.
  • Screen profiles and resumes for relevant technical skills education and experience specific to CIB and GCM.
  • Support the endtoend recruitment process by managing candidate communication and updating the ATS.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and help document hiring needs required skill sets and candidate profiles
  • Provide candidates with timely updates to ensure a positive and transparent interview experience.
  • Work in partnership with HR Business Partners Total Rewards Onboarding and HR Operations teams to ensure smooth transitions from offer to onboarding.
  • Conduct market research contribute to marketmapping initiatives and help maintain uptodate competitor talent insights.
  • Take part in proactive outreach campaigns that build pipelines for critical Analyst and Associate roles.
  • Monitor trends in the investment banking recruiting landscape and share observations with senior TA partners.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with U.S. HR policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the implementation of new recruiting processes systems and best practices across the TA team
  • Participate in campus partnerships affinity group involvement and broader talent initiatives when needed.

What Youll Bring:

  • 2 years of recruitment or HRrelated experience ideally within financial services investment banking.
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Human Resources Communications or a related field.
  • Familiarity with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn; curiosity and eagerness to learn more advanced sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint with willingness to build skills in reporting and data interpretation.
  • A collaborative mindset eagerness to learn and a customerservice orientation when supporting candidates and hiring managers.
