This role requires you to develop an understanding of our E-This role requires you to develop an understanding of our E-commerce business and partner with Grabbers across Supply Chain Category Management Marketing Logistics and Finance to drive campaign planning lead inventory forecasting models and track commercial performance. The goal is to ensure we continue to build sustainable scalable and profitable E-commerce operations.
You will report to the Senior Manager Supply Chain & Demand Planning within the Strategy & Operations Team and will be working onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Demand Planning & Growth: Own the demand signal and drive category growth in partnership with category managers and marketing. This includes:
- Inventory Forecasting: Suggest the inventory required to fulfil anticipated demand and balance between Fill Rate (Customer Experience) and Shrinkage (Waste). This includes replenishment logic including safety stock levels and cold start forecasts for new assortments. You will be expected to work closely with the team to shape up a strong supply chain.
- Campaign Planning: Use data driven insights on category performance user behaviour and market landscape to plan campaigns and promotional uplifts while ensuring stock availability through demand forecasting
- Assortment Review: analyze sales velocity customer behavior and basket composition to advise category managers on which SKUs to expand reduce or rotate. Also propose clearance strategies to maximize category profitability.
Performance Analysis and Budget management : Own performance tracking of the business against the budget. Lead root cause analysis for performance variances including campaign effectiveness to grow demand forecasting logic accuracy for stock availability category margin performance and accordingly make recommendations to leadership for improvements.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain category management merchandising or procurement ( in eCommerce retail or FMCG).
- Strong eCommerce background with understanding of key levers such as assortment planning pricing & promotions supplier funding and retail media monetization.
- Data driven decision making with an ability to extract actionable performance insights from complex datasets to inform program design and lead iterative optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in influencing P&L outcomes through strategic and data-driven recommendations
- We will prefer any experience using SQL and applying AI-driven insights and tools to category strategy and operations.
