Job Summary
- Manage maintain and monitor Linux servers and applications including system updates patching and configuration management;
- Perform regular system and security audits vulnerability assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies;
- Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues ensuring high availability and minimal downtime;
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues;
- Document system configurations processes and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing;
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications :
- Working experience in Linux system administration (CentOS RedHat) and/or UNIX (HP-UX AIX Solaris);
- Experience with automation and scripting tools like Python and Bash;
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware Openstack) and containerization platforms (Docker Kubernetes Openshift):
- Solid command-line knowledge;
- Experience with configuration management tools and version control systems (Bitbucket/Git)
- Hands on Ansible (plus);
- Expert Web Application Servers Weblogic is a plus;
- Knowledge of TCP/IP LDAP and IPV4/IPV6 (desirable);
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical skills;
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal;
- French is a plus.
