Job Summary
The role
We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the design implementation automation and operational reliability of our infrastructure and platform services across cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring production systems are secure reliable and scalable while supporting engineering teams and mentoring junior colleagues.
You will work independently and collaboratively making critical technical decisions and driving improvements across infrastructure CI/CD platform security and production reliability.
What youll be doing
Design implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using approved tooling
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Ensure reliability scalability and security of production systems
Lead infrastructure improvements and platform standardisation efforts
Review and approve infrastructure and deployment changes
Troubleshoot complex production incidents and platform failures
Collaborate with SRE and engineering teams on performance and reliability improvements
Implement monitoring logging and observability solutions
Optimise infrastructure usage and resource efficiency
Contribute to platform security best practices
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Follow company policies related to security availability and change management
What were looking for
Strong experience with Linux systems in production environments
Significant hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS Azure GCP)
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation)
Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with container platforms and orchestration systems (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring logging and observability tools
Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python Bash Go)
Experience operating production systems at scale
Ability to work independently make technical decisions and lead platform improvements
