Role: Manager of Clinical Management IT Services (Service Owner)
Location: Krakow 3 days/week onsite
Based in our new IT hub at Unity Tower in Krakow this is an exciting opportunity to join Galdermas growing IT presence in Poland as an IT Service Owner.
Reporting to the IT R&D Director you will lead the global IT Clinical domain supporting Clinical Development and Clinical Operations. This is a strategic high-impact role at the heart of R&D responsible for managing and evolving the IT solutions that enable the successful execution of clinical trials worldwide.
You will take end-to-end ownership of Clinical IT services ensuring they are reliable compliant and aligned with business and regulatory requirements within a GxP-regulated environment. Driving the service roadmap and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders you will deliver operational excellence while continuously improving and optimizing the Clinical IT landscape to support patients healthcare professionals and clinical teams globally.
Key responsibilities
Take full ownership of the end-to-end IT service lifecycle for Clinical systems from strategy and design through to operations enhancements and continuous improvement.
Shape and maintain a 3-year Clinical IT service roadmap covering demand capacity and budget planning in close partnership with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations.
Ensure reliable compliant and high-performing IT service delivery that effectively supports global clinical trial execution.
Lead and coordinate a blended delivery model managing internal teams nearshore/offshore resources and external vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Assess and prioritise incoming Clinical demands ensuring end-to-end delivery aligned with business priorities timelines and cost models.
Oversee service monitoring reporting and control across financials resources compliance and technical performance.
Establish and enforce a robust service governance framework including integrations data flows and system usage in line with Galderma standards and regulatory requirements.
Act as the central IT point of coordination across Architects Security Data and Integration supporting teams ensuring alignment and dependency management across the Clinical ecosystem.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement identifying and leading initiatives around emerging trends such as decentralised trials data standardisation and AI/advanced analytics.
Own vendor and contract management including service level definition performance oversight and ongoing optimisation.
Ensure systems remain validated and compliant with GxP ICH FDA EMA and other applicable regulations proactively managing risk.
Lead consolidation and simplification initiatives to build a scalable structured and predictable Clinical IT service delivery model.
Skills and qualifications
Masters Degree in information management computer systems Life Sciences or a related field.
10 years of experience in IT service delivery and/or application management within IT Clinical Development or Clinical Operations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong understanding of CTMS eTMF EDC RTSM / IRT eCOA / ePRO Clinical Data Management and Analytics platforms
Familiarity with leading Clinical platforms (e.g. Veeva Clinical Suite Medidata Oracle Health Sciences IQVIA ArisGlobal Clinical etc.).
Strong experience working with external vendors and managed service providers within complex delivery models.
A solid foundation in IT Service Management IT Governance Financial Management and Vendor Management.
Hands-on experience with validated GxP systems and complex system integrations in regulated environments.
A proven ability to streamline consolidate and optimise processes across systems and teams driving simplification and operational excellence.
Demonstrated experience leading transformation initiatives modernising service models and improving the scalability and effectiveness of global IT services.
A strong track record of managing complex multi-vendor global IT service environments.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
