About the Role:

An e-commerce manager isresponsible for the day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business including the development management and optimization of the online store

The person will report to the Head Ecommerce Business. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Driving sales performance analyzing past performance and setting realistic targets

Ensuring the online experience is user-friendly and on-brand and managing customer retention and loyalty programs

Spearheading digital marketing efforts and analyzing competitors to identify opportunities and threats

Making decisions about products pricing and promotions

Writing management reports on sales performance and presenting insights to stakeholders

Using historical data to forecast future trends

Conducting experiments to test different website elements marketing campaigns or pricing strategies

Key Result Areas:

Communication - An e-commerce manager should be able to clearly communicate job duties to their team and plans to management

Data Analysis - E-commerce managers need to understand what their customers like and dislike to increase revenue
