Background Information
The purpose of this request is to acquire a Senior Solutions Architect contingent resource on the CHRIS team for 1 year with an optional extension of up to 1 year.
This role will help support development of strategic and solutions architectures that support:
Realizing the vision for the Enhancing HCC Digital Connectivity initiative
Building the roadmap for home care supporting provincial services
Modernizing the Client Health Related Information System (CHRIS) solutions architecture
Decomposing the existing monolithic architectures into domain-specific services
Outsourcing the appropriate services to external third-parties
Implementing a robust highly scalable and resilient services platform
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of an architecture strategy for decomposing legacy monolithic systems into modular scalable services.
Lead the strategic evolution towards a services-based environment
Lead the build-vs-buy evaluation for targeted components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical roadmaps with business objectives and ensure seamless integration of services.
Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams guiding them through the modernization initiative and complex system designs.

Defining standard messaging interfaces and services
Required Skills:
Defining strategic evolution plans for enterprise-wide applications
Creating and maintaining strategic product and technology roadmaps
Defining architecture for large-scale software systems
Analyzing decomposing and understanding complex software ecosystems
Leading large multi-team initiatives
Overseeing and driving the delivery of software-based projects
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Must Haves:
At least 5 years of experience in the Ontario home care health sector
TOGAF Certification
At least 10 years of experience in large-scale software solution architecture
A university degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Public Sector experience
