Job Summary
At Silentium Defence were advancing passive radar andsurveillance technologies that protect what matters most.
We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) tolead the technical governance lifecycle coordination and systems maturity ofour advanced radar product lines. This is a pivotal leadership role responsiblefor aligning multidisciplinary engineering activity with program deliveryproduct evolution and customer expectations.
Your Opportunity
As SEM you will act as the technical authority acrossallocated products and services ensuring engineering discipline compliancetraceability integration and readiness across the full lifecycle.
You will:
- Lead engineering governance and evidence-based technical readiness
- Coordinate multidisciplinary system integration verification & validation
- Manage product architecture requirements and traceability frameworks
- Drive risk identification mitigation and technical decision forums
- Steward technical maturity from development through sustainment
- Engage with Defence and customer stakeholders in reviews and trials
- Mentor engineers and uplift systems engineering capability
What You Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated systems engineering leadership experience
- Experience with governance configuration control and risk management
- Background in product development manufacturing or scale-up
- Familiarity with Agile / Lean / hybrid delivery environments
Highly desirable:
- NV1 clearance (or eligibility)
- Defence aerospace or radar program experience
- MBSE or formal systems engineering certification
