Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Bay area.

Responsibilities:

Travel to different healthcare facilities to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on biomedical equipment
Install new equipment and ensure proper functioning
Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
Order parts and supplies as needed
Document all maintenance and repair activities
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
Strong knowledge of medical equipment and technology
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and travel to different locations
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must pass background and drug screen.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
