Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Bay area.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to different healthcare facilities to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on biomedical equipment
- Install new equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Order parts and supplies as needed
- Document all maintenance and repair activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and technology
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and travel to different locations
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Must pass background and drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
