Job Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experiencedSenior Estimatorto join our growing preconstruction team. This individual will lead the estimating process formultifamily residential projectsranging from $20M$100M across Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise deep knowledge of the local market and a collaborative mindset that aligns with our culture of excellence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead theend-to-end estimating processfor multifamily projects: conceptual schematic and final GMP/bid proposals
Developaccurate quantity takeoffsusing digital tools (Bluebeam PlanSwift OST etc.)
Analyze drawings specifications and project requirements to develop complete cost estimates
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids ensuring full scope coverage and accurate pricing
Participate indesign review meetings providing real-time value engineering and constructability input
Work closely with project managers superintendents and executives to align preconstruction with execution strategy
Track and update historical cost data vendor pricing and market conditions to maintain estimate accuracy
Prepare and present estimates to executive leadership and ownership groups
Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with the precon team to uphold quality and consistency
Qualifications:
812 years of construction estimating experience includingsignificant multifamily project work(podium garden-style mid-rise or wrap)
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field preferred
Strong understanding ofproject delivery methods(Design-Build CM-at-Risk Lump Sum)
Experience withProcore Bluebeam On-Screen Takeoff or similarconstruction software
Demonstrated ability to develop conceptual budgets from limited design documentation
Excellent communication negotiation and time management skills
Local subcontractor market knowledge (Southwest Florida) a strong plus
