Job Summary:
CareTechPros is hiring Experienced Microbiologists to support a fast-scaling healthcare and life sciences organization. This confidential client is expanding its Analytical Development and Quality Control operations in response to increased national demand.
We are seeking professionals who bring more than routine lab work. If you value scientific rigor contamination control and want to grow within a regulated lab environment (GMP/GLP) this is a great match.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological testing: bioburden sterility endotoxins
- Perform environmental monitoring and implement contamination control strategies
- Maintain compliance with GMP GLP and internal quality standards
- Accurately document and report test results in LIMS or equivalent systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with analytical development and QC teams
- Support training/mentorship of junior microbiology staff
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in a regulated microbiology or QC lab setting
- Proficient in sterile techniques and contamination control
- Skilled in SOP-driven documentation and GMP/GLP compliance
- Adaptable detail-oriented and able to thrive in high-growth environments
- Degree in Microbiology Biology or related field (BS/MS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with blood/plasma biotech or pharmaceutical products
- Familiarity with LIMS or laboratory automation tools
- Prior exposure to analytical development or high-throughput labs
