Mission
As part of the Application Production Support Teamyou will ensure the stability availability and performance ofbusiness-critical applications in production environments.
The role focuses on incident resolution systemmonitoring observability and continuous improvement of IT operationswhile collaborating with both internal teams and external service providersto implement long-term solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Application Stability &Availability
- Monitor and maintain production applications ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in incident management processes including P1/P2 incident situation rooms and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Identify incident trends and contribute to long-term problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL governance and SLA requirements.
- Execute change requests and deployments following ITIL and DevOps practices.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical applications when required.
Technical Support &Collaboration
- Act as a technical point of contact for development teams when troubleshooting production issues.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to design deploy and improve applications.
- Implement upgrades patches and enhancements with minimal disruption to users.
Documentation &Knowledge Sharing
- Maintain and update technical documentation including troubleshooting guides and configuration documentation.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the global support team.
Monitoring &Observability
- Implement and optimize monitoring and observability tools particularly Dynatrace.
- Work with development teams and Centers of Expertise to define monitoring standards.
- Promote observability culture enabling early detection and resolution of potential issues.
