Dartmouth Health - Cheshire Medical Center in Keene NH is looking for an experienced board-certified general surgical ophthalmologist to lead its ophthalmology team as its Chief of Ophthalmology. This position requires strong leadership abilities exceptional clinical expertise and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can lead and mentor a team of ophthalmologists optometrists and support staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment;
- Is passionate about patient-centered care;
- Fosters a culture of continuous learning professional development and excellence in patient care.
Position Overview:
- Located in downtown Keene
- General ophthalmology with ability to subspecialize
- Strong highly skilled support team of certified ophthalmic assistants
- Epic EMR
- Join an established team of 3 ophthalmologists 2 optometrists and 15 support staff
Requirements:
- MD DO or equivalent degree
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Ophthalmology
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in ophthalmology
- Commitment to a culture of diversity equity inclusion and belonging
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license
