Synergie is seeking a Production Team Leader for one of Australiasleading Paint Manufacters in Clayton.

The important parts:

Monday Friday 6am - 2pm
Base rate leadership allowances
Commencing ASAP

What you will be required to do:

A Summary of the role

Lead and supervise a team of up to 20 production operators
Monitor and drive KPIs including productivity qualityand safety
Oversee and improve production processes and workflow
Manage difficult conversations performance management and team concerns
Provide guidance trainingand support to team members
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards

Production Duties:

Operate and monitor automated production and mixing equipment
Assist with colour matching batchingand quality checks
Perform labelling fillingand packaging of paint products
Carry out machine calibration cleaningand changeovers
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

To be successful in the role you will:

Previous team leader or supervisory experience in manufacturing or production
Strong understanding of production processes and KPI management
Ability to lead motivate and manage a team effectively
Confident communicator who can handle challenging conversations
Monday Friday availability including weekends if required
Ability to lift up to 18kgs
Proficient English literacy skills including reading and writing
Ability to clear a Police Check and Drug and Alcohol test
Have full working rights in Australia
