AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Technology Commerce Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join its Technology Commerce practice in Dallas.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with at least six years of experience handling the intellectual property aspects of complex corporate transactions as well as structuring drafting and negotiating sophisticated intellectual property and commercial agreements.
The Role
Advise on intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions public offerings financings and other multidisciplinary transactions
Structure draft and negotiate intellectual property and commercial agreements including license service development distribution and partnering agreements
Support high-stakes transactions involving the development transfer and commercialization of intellectual property assets
Collaborate across industry groups on matters involving emerging technologies
Ideal Background
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials
At least 6 years of relevant law firm or in-house attorney experience handling licensing and technology transaction matters
Experience advising on IP aspects of corporate transactions
Strong drafting and negotiation experience with intellectual property and commercial agreements
Excellent writing skills attention to detail and strong teamwork abilities
Admitted in Texas or eligible for admission
