DescriptionAs an HSE Engineer I here at Honeywell you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety health and environmental responsibility within the organization. In this role your expertise in risk assessment incident investigation and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential hazards
- Develop and implement safety training programs to promote a culture of safety
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulations
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in fields related to Safety Hygiene and Environmental Management.
- Professional experience in roles related to Safety Hygiene and Environment.
- Language proficiency: Spanish and intermediate conversational English.
- Knowledge of legal regulations regarding safety health and environment including the ability to prepare requests and reports for authorities.
- Skills in data and risk assessment as well as the ability to remain calm during emergency situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact across various levels of the organization.
- Ability to guide and influence employees as a functional support in Safety Hygiene and Environmental matters.
- Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing preventive measures.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and risk evaluation.
- Responds quickly to emergency situations while maintaining composure during crises.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Outlook and Teams.
