We are currently searching for a System Engineer - L2:
Responsibilities:
Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
Implement and maintain network security controls and infrastructure.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including network diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business-critical applications.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) monitoring and training junior engineers while leading complex projects.
Determine the feasibility of technical solutions and prioritize competing requests for technical assistance.
Manage VoIP Call Manager services (Cisco Nortel Avaya) including call routing hunt groups and audio-related troubleshooting.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through the timely resolution of escalated and expedited projects.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure including switches routers firewalls WAPs and WLCs.
Expertise in WAN/LAN technologies specifically with Cisco and Juniper equipment.
Advanced understanding of Internet Protocols (HTTP DNS TCP/IP ICMP) and components (proxies gateways).
Proficiency in VoIP Call Manager features (Call forwarding Hunt groups Time-of-day routing).
Strong technical support and customer-facing skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Availability for a 24/7 shift rotation.
Desired:
5 years of experience in the networking or telecommunications field.
CCNA (Voice or Data) certification or equivalent knowledge.
Bachelors degree in Engineering Telecommunications or Information Systems.
Advanced PC skills particularly with MS Excel and Word.
