Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for tracking student progress maintaining accurate credit records and supporting academic growth through data-informed instruction specifically high school courses.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and record student performance data and post credits for secondary students.

Requirements:

Valid Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsement. Knowledge of NCES Codes high school grading experience and experience transcribing grades onto educational transcripts.ONLY INTERNAL CANDIDATES NEED APPLY.

Education: Completion of a higher education bachelors degree or masters degree in education/ teaching andA valid teaching license issued by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission with Secondary Subject Area Endorsement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Align curriculum with grade level standards.
  2. Analyze student performance test results and create curriculum and use online programs to help students reach grade level standards.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Language Skills:Ability to read English and comprehend complex technical language. Ability to write memoranda correspondence lessons plans reports and student achievement summaries in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills:Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with a high degree of accuracy.

Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but basic written or oral instructions in English. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities:Ability to work collaboratively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers supervisor(s) staff students parents and community.

Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to walk and may be continuously required to stand. The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk while performing the duties of this job. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works in a school environment. Able to use a telephone operate a computer and use other office equipment. Able to drive to other program sites and meetings.

CLASSIFICATION:

Licensed TEMPORARY summer school position Location TBD. Only INTERNAL CANDIDATES need apply.

WORK DAYS/HOURS:

Work schedule TBD.

EMPLOYMENT CONTINGENT ON ENROLLMENT AND GRANT FUNDING.

SALARY:

Paid by timesheet at the per diem rate of the 2026-2027 Licensed Salary Schedule. Salary range $52339 - $107622 .
