Description| The purpose of this position is to provide post-sales engineering review and support for won projects in Australian and New Zealand. Key Responsibilities: Document Package Transfer In / Out: - Support the documentation hand-over process from Pre to Post-Sales teams once a project has been won led by the Senior Thermal Engineer
- Support the document package and transfer process for projects going from Post-Sales to Project Management
- Maintain document register for all documents part of the technical packages and assist in collating for submission to customer
ICA Technical Reviews (Support Role): - Support Senior Engineers in reviewing project documentation for technical completeness and buildability.
- Assist in reviewing Statements of Compliance technical specifications and commissioning requirements.
- Highlight potential discrepancies missing information or technical queries for escalation.
Engineering re-estimate (Support Role): - Assist in reviewing equipment selections and technical schedules against project requirements.
- Support engagement with vendors and internal teams to gather technical data and pricing inputs.
- Prepare comparison tables for alternative solutions under direction of senior team members.
Technical Submittals (Post Purchase Order): - Assist in preparing and compiling technical submittals including drawings datasheets and compliance documentation.
- Attend project meetings to understand scope technical clarifications and action items.
- Track submittal status and maintain document revision control.
- Support Senior Engineers through delivery commissioning and handover phases.
Site and As-Built Drawing Management: - Operate a comprehensive documentation register for all project files and ensure the latest revisions are uploaded to the company server.
- Review drawing updates for changes impacting Vertivs scope and escalate impacts to senior team member.
- Assist in compiling final as-built documentation packages.
Technical Procurement Specification - Assist in drafting scopes of work for contractors and vendors under guidance.
- Support procurement by organising technical information required for RFQs.
- Help review vendor submissions for technical compliance.

Technical Submittals: - Manage revisions and updates to site documentation post the Purchase Order. This will include incorporating documentation changes into revised Statements of Compliance and other affected documents.
Drawings: - See Technical Submittal above.
- Work with PSA team to have as-built drawings developed and updated as necessary ready for site hand-over.
Continuous Improvement: - At the end of each project develop in conjunction with the Project Managers a list of Lessons Learned on the project and schedule a discussion with the PSA team to walk through the document. The purpose of this step is to promote a higher level of understanding to the PSA team and improve the quality of submissions that go out to our customers.
WHS Environment & Quality: - Comply with all Work Health & Safety Environment and Quality obligations.
- Participate in site safety briefings and risk assessments.
- Promote a safe working environment and escalate safety concerns

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

- Market knowledge of mission critical power infrastructure including application installation commissioning testing and communications connectivity
- Good understanding and knowledge of HVAC industry and products
- Knowledge of the application of Australian and international standards framework and industry codes
| |
- 03 years experience in engineering HVAC thermal systems or data centre environments
- Exposure to cooling systems airflow modelling heat load calculations or commissioning processes
- Market knowledge of Thermal products including application
- Solid technical understanding and knowledge of thermal management products and concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- English writing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
