Job Description
As a Security Officer - Part-Time Foot Patrol in Flower Mound TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech media and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations support access control and visitor needs and communicate clearly with onsite teams. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a tech and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices operations areas parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor alarms cameras and other site systems as assigned and report irregularities maintenance issues and/or security-related concerns through established communication channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordinating with onsite contacts and contacting emergency services when required.
- Complete daily activity reports incident reports and shift logs and support access control by checking identification issuing visitor instructions and/or controlling entry points per site policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred and this may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
