Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Technology Specialist to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security with a deep understanding of current and emerging threats as well as the latest security technologies and best practices. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the security of our company and our clients data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement information security policies procedures and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions

- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents

- Manage and maintain security systems including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and anti-malware software

- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends technologies and threats to ensure the companys security measures are effective and up-to-date

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security considerations are incorporated into all technology projects and initiatives

- Respond to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner working closely with IT and other teams to contain and mitigate the impact of the incident

- Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

- Provide support and guidance to colleagues on security-related matters

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security preferably in a corporate environment

- Strong knowledge of information security principles best practices and technologies

- Experience with security risk assessments and vulnerability management

- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 NIST or COBIT

- Experience with security tools such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and anti-malware software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA are a plus
