As an Operations Manager you will oversee daily rental operations ensuring a seamless customer experience from arrival to departure while balancing operational efficiency with business performance. You will lead a team manage a dynamic fleet and make real-time decisions that drive both customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and streamline the end-to-end rental process to minimize wait times and deliver fast friendly and efficient service that enhances the overall customer experience
Make informed real-time decisions that balance customer satisfaction with company profitability and operational goals
Maintain a clean well-managed and diverse fleet ensuring vehicle availability aligns with customer demand including specialty vehicles
Lead daily operations by anticipating needs improving workflows and proactively addressing challenges before they impact performance
Forecast operational needs including staffing and fleet requirements using historical data and market trends to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Manage and prioritize complex task lists with strong follow-through ensuring all operational responsibilities are completed accurately and on time
Monitor team productivity and performance provide ongoing coaching and feedback and maintain a motivated accountable and supportive work environment
Identify operational slowdowns across departments and implement solutions to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks
Participate in the recruitment interviewing and hiring of team members to build a strong and capable team
Monitor key performance metrics ensure goals are met and adjust strategies as needed to drive results
Develop and enhance cross-training programs to build a flexible high-performing team capable of supporting multiple functions
Coach and support rental agents in meeting sales goals and revenue targets through hands-on leadership and guidance
Generate analyze and present detailed KPI reports using Excel to support data-driven decision-making
Foster a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to contribute ideas and continuously improve operations
Perform additional duties as needed to support overall business objectives
Process Optimization:
Use data and operational insights to forecast staffing levels and fleet needs
Continuously evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency across operations
Anticipate unexpected demand and develop contingency plans to maintain smooth performance
Simplify processes to reduce complexity improve productivity and eliminate bottlenecks
Promote a culture of continuous improvement accountability and teamwork
Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Strong problem-solving analytical and organizational skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience with real-time monitoring tools and operational systems
Proven ability to coach develop and lead a performance-driven team to meet operational and sales targets
