RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead mentor and develop members of the Systems departmentestablishingclear priorities and accountability.
- Leadand continuously refine the organizations systems development lifecycle (SDLC)establishingclear processes governance and cross-department collaboration to ensure technology initiatives are scoped effectively delivered efficiently and aligned with strategic business priorities.
- Translate company vision into enterprise systems strategies and a multi-year technology roadmap.
- Oversee the performance reliability and optimization of core business systems infrastructure and integrations.
- Lead planning and execution of company-wide technology initiativesincludingproject managementchangemanagementand staff training.
- Partner closely with department heads and senior leadership toidentifytechnology solutions that support operational and strategic goals.
- Build and scale the Systems team by recruiting hiring and developing high-performing IT professionals and software developers aligning talent strategy with the organizations systems roadmap operational needs and long-term digital growth.
- Develop and execute Nat Habs AIstrategyidentifyinghigh-impact opportunities to improve workflows productivity and insight across teams.
- Report project status and strategic initiatives to the executive team translating technical progress risks and priorities into clear business insights.
- Establish responsible AI governance standards and ensure data privacy and security best practices are upheld.
- Monitor system performance metricstomeasureeffectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the Systems department budget and vendor relationships as a steward of company resources.
- Partner with IT leadership to ensure cybersecurity compliance and regulatory alignment (including SOX and CCPA).
SKILLSAND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in systems technology or IT roles including managing direct reports.
- Bachelors degreein a technology-related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence organizational change.
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills.
- Strategicthinkerable to balance long-term vision with practical execution.
- Experience developing and executing enterprise systems strategies.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure integrations and business systems.
- Previousexperience as a systems developer
- Experience working with AI automation or workflow optimization toolsalong with practical experience implementing AI solutions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity data governance and responsible AI practices.
- Previousexperience withpublic company compliance requirements isa plus.
- Experience with online commerceis highlydesirable.
COMPENSATION
Starting salary range: $155000-$175000plus an annual bonus. Compensation will becommensuratewith experience. (Per Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act employers must include compensation ranges in jobpostings.)This is afull-time exempt position.

While standard company office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for select members of our guest-facing teams the VP of Systems is expected to maintain flexible availability beyond these hours to support operational continuity and must be reachable for urgent situationsspecific to technologythat may arise at any time including evenings weekends and holidays.Additionalhours are oftento meet the demands of a 24/7 operation.
