AssistantAssociate Professor of Business (Division Chair)

The Business Division in South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminarys (SFBC&TS) College of Arts & Sciences is seeking a qualified candidate to join our faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Business (Division Chair). The teaching focus will be on business administration with an emphasis in management and organizational leadership. This position will be located at SFBC&TSs Deerfield Beach FL campus and is expected to begin in January 2027. The applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.
South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary is an institution of higher learning where the Bible is central in preparing men and women for ministry to serve Christ and His Church through Biblical thought and Christian life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum

• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level business courses including (but not limited to):
  • Principles of Management
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Business Ethics
  • Strategic Management
  • Leadership and Organizational Development
• Teach a combination of online and on-campus courses.
• Develop review and update curriculum to ensure academic quality and relevance.

Division Leadership (Chair Responsibilities)

• Provide oversight and leadership for all business programs within the division.
• Supervise and support full-time and adjunct faculty including hiring mentoring and evaluation.
• Ensure course scheduling faculty assignments and instructional quality in coordination with the Registrar and Academic Office.
• Lead program assessment accreditation support and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain alignment of all division activities with the mission and values of SFBC&TS.

Student Engagement and Institutional Service

• Advise and mentor a select number of students.
• Participate in faculty meetings committees and institutional events.
• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing to support recruitment and enrollment efforts.
• Support the development of partnerships that enhance internships and career pathways for students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Demonstrated academic or administrative leadership experience.
• Professional experience in business management or organizational leadership.

Essential Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate in Business Administration Management or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and instructional technologies.

• The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate-level business courses;
• Demonstrated leadership capacity to oversee and develop academic programs;
• Facility with online instructional technology; and
• A willingness to embrace the institutions Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
