Job Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure all company client and project policies/procedures are adhered to as specified
Generate estimates prepare and review project proposal or plan todetermineandestablishatime frame work plan funding limitations procedures foraccomplishingthe project staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
Oversee the project through administrative direction of on-site supervision to ensure the project is builtin accordance withdesign budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with the customer tovalidateexpectations are understood and met before during and after project completion
Plan coordinate and/or manage activities of all company personnel and subcontractors on assigned project(s)
Generate billings and lead the collections process for projects
Frequent project visits with field supervision and other personnel to gain an understanding of any progress needs or the planning of future labor/material needs of the project
Ensuretimelyprocurement and delivery of materials to the job site by working directly with vendors
Build long-term relationships with both the clients and fellow employees by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions
Provide consistent feedback and reports to the business unit vice president
Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting
Provide advice guidance mentoring and direction to subordinates and other junior personnel toward the achievement of their personal development goals
Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing skills and competencies to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
Responsible for job site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards for personnel under his or her supervision.
Support andparticipatein company-sponsored initiatives and activities
Qualifications
- A College degree journeymans license or master electricians license
- Understanding of electrical installations
- Strong computer skills - Specifically in Microsoft 365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
PREFERRED
- Experience in dealing with industrial construction/contracting
- Electrical contracting assistant project management experience
- Electrical contracting assistant project management experience
- Familiar with computer-based estimating
- Familiar with COINS (ERP Software)
- Knowledge of billing and collections
