Hours: 6:00pm - 2:30am

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee the inspection process responsible for the laborers Team Leads and the inspection of customer products for the assigned tables
• Must lead by example be organized and practice good housekeeping skills in all areas of the facility
• Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures
• Report any accidents or incidents that occur within the facility immediately to a supervisor
• Responsible for the coordination of shift start activities prior to start time (table requirements paperwork etc)
• Ensure appropriate tools and materials are available for completion of jobs
• Provide on the job training for any new work instructions when applicable
• Must be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs
• Provide input to Customer Service Manager regarding performance
• Report any policy or procedure violations to Customer Support Manager
• Participate support and comply with all health and safety initiatives and requirements
• Interact with the Customer on a daily/weekly/monthly frequencies ensuring complete Customer Satisfaction
• Ensure proper and accurate documentation paperwork is submitted on a daily basis
• Ensure appropriate Off-Site tool kits (Laptop/Printer/Tools) certification stickers required PPE and materials are available for completion of jobs
• Comply with all Customer Off-Site regulations and work rules
• Maintain Customer Site badge access where required
• Quote new Hourly Inspection jobs as they arise for the Off-Site locations
• Perform employee evaluations on a regular basis
• Provide orientation for the Off-Site location and continuous training as required
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Previous experience in customer service and supervisory capacity
• Ability to workdays afternoons nights overtime and weekends
• Own transportation
• Ability to manage a team of people (5-15 per shift)
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor
• Experience in automotive setting is an asset we are willing to train for the right person!
• Read write speak English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate able to utilize MS Word Excel and PowerPoint and email software
• Safety Mindset

Preferred Requirements:

• Preferred quality knowledge within an automotive environment
• Understanding of measurement units and tolerancing; ability to train others in this area

Job Compensation

Compensation up to $25/hr based on experience
