National Sales Head
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented National Sales Head to lead our sales operations across India. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various sales channels and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. This is a full-time permanent position based in Delhi.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead mentor and manage a team of sales professionals across General Trade Traditional Sales Modern Trade and Technical Sales segments.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Analyze sales performance data market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Set sales targets budgets and forecasts and monitor performance against these metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing product development and other departments to ensure alignment and support sales efforts.
- Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and team effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles with a significant portion spent in India.
- Extensive experience and expertise in General Trade Traditional Sales Modern Trade and Technical Sales.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective national sales strategies.
- Strong leadership team management and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting budget management and performance analysis.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to travel as required.
