About the Role
The Manager of Technology Client Services is an integral part of Lathams Technology & Information Services and Legal Innovation team. This role will be responsible for leading the execution of the firms client-facing technology strategy in alignment with the Associate Director of AI - Legal Innovation as well as assisting in developing the firms client-facing technology narrative and value proposition. This role will be located in our New York office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Delivering senior-level messaging to clients and prospective clients regarding the firms AI and legal innovation initiatives
- Partnering with Business Development and lead partners to identify opportunities to differentiate the firms AI and innovation initiatives in the market
- Directly supervising Technology Client Services Attorneys and Consultants
- Serving as a member of the AI & Legal Innovation management team
- Overseeing maintenance of the legal technology software catalog used for pitches and client inquiries
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

- Possess excellent writing skills including the ability to explain technical systems and concepts in plain language
- Demonstrate excellent operational skills (e.g. organizing planning problem-solving and decision-making)
- Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
And have:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent preferably a J.D. or equivalent
- A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
- Law firm or professional services experience preferably
- Experience in legal technology AI or innovation environments preferably
