Job Summary

Eexciting Program Manager opportunity. This role focuses on modernizing legacy systems and implementing FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards to improve data quality records management and interoperability within public health data systems.

Atlanta GA 30334

Work Details:

Location: Hybrid (in-office for first 2 months then hybrid schedule).
Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Monday Friday.
No travel required.

The Program Manager will lead and coordinate multiple IT and data modernization projects driving policy process and technology improvements for records maintenance retention and delivery. The position plays a key role in aligning modernization initiatives with the states public health strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple projects within the Vital Records modernization portfolio.
Develop and implement data quality policies procedures and governance frameworks.
Support integration of FHIR standards and APIs to enhance interoperability.
Collaborate with senior leadership on prioritization scheduling and resource planning.
Manage documentation risk assessments and project communications.
Facilitate meetings track milestones and maintain transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Public Health or related field.
PMP certification required.
5 years experience managing a portfolio of multiple IT projects.
Experience implementing FHIR standards and APIs.
Knowledge of public health data systems and state government IT environments.
Strong background in data governance documentation and business process improvement.
