Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $15.00 $18.00 per hour
Performance-based salary increase available after 6 months
No traditional benefits offered
Primary care services available through the practice

Overview

We are seeking a dependable professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a small patient-focused primary care practice. This role requires a balance of clinical and front-office responsibilities strong anticipation skills and a commitment to respectful compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties

Obtain accurate patient intake vital signs and medical histories
Anticipate physician needs during patient visits and procedures
Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling
Perform and document EKGs
Administer injections and treatments per provider orders
Assist with minor in-office procedures
Maintain exam room readiness and infection control standards

Office & Administrative Duties

Support daily clinic flow and patient coordination
Assist with medical billing and coding processes (knowledge a plus)
Schedule appointments and manage patient communication
Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) active certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG performance
Ability to work both clinical and office/front-desk functions

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift position and assist patients as needed
