Job Summary:
The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) provides strategic advisement and consultation to assigned clients leveraging knowledge of HR practices regulations and labor law. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients identifying and implementing HR solutions while utilizing subject matter experts. The Sr. HRBP leads critical HR projects provides guidance on strategic direction and handles complex HR matters with broad organizational impact.
Location:Irvine California United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advisement and consultation to assigned clients.
- Identify and establish HR solutions utilizing subject matter experts.
- Lead human resources projects of critical importance to the organization.
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding strategic direction to leaders.
- Analyze data and situations to provide strategic direction for HR practices.
- Conduct analysis and develop recommendations demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
- Perform tactical and administrative functions as necessary.
- Present complex information effectively in written and verbal form.
- Establish credibility trust and influence with senior leaders.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Expert knowledge of employment practices labor relations salary administration and training.
- Expert knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
- Expert analytical skills for strategic HR direction.
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
- Bachelors degree in related area or equivalent experience/training.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP) SHRM-CP or SHRM-SC PHR or SPHR Certification.
Special Considerations:
- Must be able to provide own transportation to various work sites.
- May be required to report at different work sites.
Scheduling:
- Duration: 2 months
- The position would help with coverage across the enterprise covering for LOAs etc. where the need arises. Could be asked to assist at Orange initially and then Los Alamitos.
