Job Summary:

The Payroll Assistant is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role involves data entry timekeeping verification of records and addressing employee inquiries related to payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and able to work effectively within a team.
Location:Hacienda Heights California United States
Responsibilities:

- Assist in processing biweekly payroll for employees including data entry and calculation of wages and deductions.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies related to hours worked.
- Address employee inquiries related to payroll taxes and deductions promptly and professionally.
- Maintain organized and secure payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Prior experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Special Considerations:

- Onsite position.
- No call-outs allowed during the first two weeks.
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of request.
Scheduling:
- Monday through Friday schedule.
