The Senior Project Manager is responsible for full project lifecycle management including scope development budgeting scheduling regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. This role includes mentoring junior staff managing multi-disciplinary teams and serving as a key client interface.
Significant field involvement is expected along with report review regulatory coordination and project oversight. Neighbor island and extended assignments may be required.
Minimum Requirements
- Local resident of Hawaii (preferably Oahu)
- Four-year degree in physical biological geological or related science
- 5 years of environmental consulting experience
- Proven project management and client leadership experience
- Strong technical writing and report review skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Hawaii Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) designation (priority consideration)
- Advanced knowledge of DOH TGM and regulatory processes
- Experience managing remediation projects (soil groundwater asbestos lead mold)
- Asbestos Project Monitor experience on large-scale projects
- DOH certifications (asbestos lead project monitor risk assessor etc.)
- Experience with fire flood and large-loss insurance projects
- Experience with EA/EIS SWPPP ESCP or related programs
