Job Summary

This is a management position performing a variety of routine and complex administrative technical and professional work in analyzing and administering safety standards of the Conch Tour Train and Old Town Trolley Tours of Key West while keeping to the companys mission. This position ensures that out companys high standards of safety are maintained in keeping to our motto Safety first courtesy a close second. It is your goal to maintain our corporations reputation as a safe company

Requirements:

Essential Functions

• Maintain and apply knowledge pf current safety policies regulations and procedures.
• First contact to initiate worker compensation claim. File with Risk Management and insurance company. Hand claims over to Office Manager for injury claim management.
• Investigate accidents injuries or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventative measures.
• Conduct safety inspections.
• Report or review findings from safety inspections safety evaluations and accident investigations to General Manager and National Safety Director.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently within the scope of established rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services this includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with employees supervisors other departments and external entities.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse and sometimes irate individuals and to handle calmly and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
• Ability to identify gather and analyze information exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old
• Two years of college desirable
• College degree preferable.
• Valid Florida Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement (Will train to acquire CDL. Must obtain a CDL in the first month of employment)
• Acceptable driving record for past three years

Other Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
• Valid DOT Physical required
• Federal Background Check
