Full Job Description

Established full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team.

Qualifications:

Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) Certified Paralegal (CP) or certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program

At least 2 years of relevant paralegal experience

Strong background in general civil litigation

Experience with Clio or similar case management software

Prior billing experience preferred

All candidates must be comfortable billing their time in accordance with firm guidelines.

This is not a Remote Position.

About the Role

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in all stages of litigation from case intake through trial. You should be organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting attorneys with case management from inception through trial

Drafting correspondence pleadings and other legal documents

Communicating with clients and outside parties

Scheduling and confirming hearings depositions mediations and meetings

Maintaining and monitoring calendars for all deadlines and court dates

Conducting legal research

Managing discovery including coordinating responses and preparing related documents

Preparing subpoenas exhibits trial binders and other pre-trial materials

Accurately and timely entering billable time

Performing additional duties as assigned by attorneys
