The client is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with eDiscovery experience in our Milwaukee office. This role will provide support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation including case management docketing eDiscovery trial preparation trial presentation and post-trial work. The Litigation Paralegal will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices across the full eDiscovery life cycle including the identification preservation collection processing analysis review and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
The primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining documents under attorney supervision including notices briefs citations witness disclosures exhibits jury demands stipulations authorizations and subpoenas for records.
- Assist litigation attorneys with discovery requests subpoenas dockets court orders and other related litigation support tasks.
- Lead the eDiscovery data management efforts from collection to production and post-trial/post-settlement archives.
- Manage and maintain electronic document databases and eDiscovery platforms ensuring data integrity organization accessibility and retention.
- Help to create and update defensible and consistent eDiscovery documentation workflows processes and best practices.
- Assist in vendor selection and vendor management related to litigation and eDiscovery service providers including forensic investigations and trial support.
- Monitor and stay current on eDiscovery technology litigation developments and industry best practices-especially in the areas related to Artificial Intelligence.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors or Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certification. At least 5 years of litigation paralegal experience is required and courtroom experience is strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will be highly-motivated with strong writing oral communication and analytical skills excellent attention to detail ability to multitask and a passion for client service. They must be willing to collaborate with a team and work with internal and external clients attorneys and staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems and experience with legal software is preferred. Demonstrated AI experience is also a plus.
