Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy integrity and compliance of all accounting processes that support our commercial operations in Poland. By managing endtoend bookkeeping financial reporting and statutory requirements the role safeguards the companys financial reliability and enables timely datadriven decisionmaking. Additionally this position serves as a key partner to the finance team and crossfunctional departments contributing to smooth monthend closing transparent financial controls and effective business collaboration.

-Verify the formal and accounting correctness of financial documents within a trading company.

-Record accounting documents in the system in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act.

-Manage trade settlements across a group of entities including bank statements prepayments overpayments and balance reconciliation.

-Participate in monthend and yearend closing processes as well as in preparation of balance sheet work.

-Prepare statutory and corporate reports such as GUS JPK VAT CIT and internal group reports.

-Work in accounting and workflow systems including JDE SAP Concur and electronic approval tools.

-Perform additional tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant or Finance Director.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who has already worked independently in a similar role ideally within a wholesale or distribution environment.
The ideal candidate has a relevant educational background in accounting finance or related fields combined with a strong practical understanding of Polish accounting and tax regulations.
Strong communication skills the ability to set priorities and effective time management are essential along with a good command of spoken and written English for daily collaboration in an international environment.
