Job Summary

The Clinical Lab Assistant II performs phlebotomy and specimen management in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirements promotes exceptional customer service and fosters a customer centric professional environment that contributes to a positive and productive work environment. Responsible for both internal and external customer inquiry and problem resolution.

The position may require travel to off-site locations and the flexibility to work all shifts weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technologist program (non-certified); OR bachelors degree in biology Chemistry Microbiology or related
field
Experience in clinical lab setting preferred.

Skills

Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
Strong interpersonal computer and communication skills.
Willingness to work different shifts weekends and/or holidays.
Ability to work under stress and contribute to the team environment.
